The luxury spa at the entertainment complex at the NEC has linked up with the internationally renowned skin care expert to offer star treatments beloved by A-listers across the globe.

Gwyneth Paltrow, Camilla Parker Bowles, the Duchess of Cambridge, Victoria Beckham and Simon Cowell are among a long list of celebrity fans of Deborah’s Heaven skin care range.

To celebrate the launch Santai Spa is offering a Birmingham Mail reader the opportunity to experience a taste of the high life with a Bee Venom Facial from Deborah herself.

“Heaven attracts lots and lots of celebrities across the world, but we remain a very niche company and we are very choosy about where we place our products and I am choosy about what I give my name to.

“Here, at Resorts World Birmingham Santai Spa, I feel like part of the family. It isn’t a franchise, but you can come here and have Heaven treatments and be in a Heaven home.

Vegan diets have anti-aging health benefits and promote natural weight loss, said Dr. David Katz, director of Yale University’s Prevention Research Center.

“A diet of minimally processed foods close to nature — predominantly plants — is decisively associated with health promotion and disease prevention,” said Dr. Katz, author of Disease-Proof.

Dr. Neal Barnard agrees. “Studies suggest that free radicals [toxic molecules that form in the body] contribute to aging,” said Barnard, author of 21-Day Weight Loss Kickstart.

Gwen joins a long list of celebrity vegetarians and vegans who tout a plant-based diet for its weight loss and anti-aging health benefits. Other celebrity vegans include Beyonce and Carrie Underwood.

Beyonce’s trainer, Marco Borges, said The 22-Day Revolution diet helped her lose 65 pounds six months after she gave birth to daughter Blue Ivy in 2012.

These moisturiser-impregnated fabric face masks — known as a ‘cheat sheet’ because it lets you cheat your way to a brighter, clearer complexion in minutes — have suddenly become the thing to be seen wearing. Barely a week goes by without a celebrity sharing a picture of themselves on their social media pages wearing one of these white sheets draped over their face, eyes peering out from a ghostly visage.

Yes, a mask may turn you into a Hannibal Lecter lookalike, but it makes you look younger. From Adele and Paris Hilton to Lady Gaga and Alexa Chung, they’re all at it.

‘I tell you what I want, what I really, really want!’: For this ex-Spice Girl (left), it’s a face mask.  (right) Shy, retiring and covered up? How very novel for this American hotel heiress

Quite why these A-listers feel compelled to showcase every aspect of their beauty regimens to the world remains a mystery, but according to London-based facialist Cherry Woods, cheat sheets are an invaluable accompaniment to the busy party season — for stars and the rest of us alike.

‘They offer a practical and easy skin treatment that doesn’t rely on faffing around with pots of cream,’ she says. ‘They won’t mess up your hair when you apply them or irritate and dry your skin when you try and take them off, as some conventional clay masks can.’
